Football tournament

    The 5th European Chamber Cup Football Tournament is an annual branding sports event by the European Chamber. Local companies will put their teams into the matches. Western food and snacks will be sold at the event. The entry is free.

    ‘Digging a Hole in China’

    “Digging a Hole in China” exhibition features a range of works produced in contemporary China that connect to the land. The exhibition attempts to expose and analyze the discrepancies between this genre of work and “conventional” land art as understood in the Western art historical context, thereby probing the potential of “land” as a cultural concept in artistic practice.

    Fashion exhibition

    “The Future of Fashion Is Now” exhibition aims to introduce trends in the forefront of fashion design through works of both accomplished designers and emerging young designers. It showcases works by 35 designers from 13 countries.

    European glass pieces

    Glass pieces on loan from the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague are on display, offering a thoughtful, expressive, and utterly breathtaking exploration of glassmaking in Europe from the 4th century B.C. to the present day. There is a large collection of Bohemian glass with enamel paintings and extravagantly cut glass bowls, plates, vases, goblets and bottles.

    Italian glamour at Shark

    Shark Wine Lounge & Restaurant at Futian District’s Shopping Park, in association with The Style Workshop, will present an Evening of Fashion, Glamour and Style on Friday evening. With a theme to celebrate 1940’s Italian movies, the restaurant will cater to diners with DJ, games, lucky draws and a “Best Dressed” contest. Complimentary drinks for ladies, who are encouraged to wear full-length gowns, fur shawls, gloves and vintage-style hats. On Sunday, Shark will offer a special open buffet L’Aperitivo Italian at 128 yuan per person, including one selected drink.

    Sound art festival

    Eight sound artists, Miyeon & Park (South Korea), Sainkho Namtschylak (Austria/Mongolia), Olaf Hochherz (Germany), Dickson Dee (Hong Kong), Shen Piji (Shenzhen) and Zenlu (Shenzhen), will give improvised and experimental shows at iD Town in Dapeng.
