POLICE USE DRONES TO MONITOR TRAFFIC, RECORD VIOLATIONS
     2016-May-3  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A drone flies over an expressway in Guangzhou yesterday. Traffic police of the capital of Guangdong Province for the first time used drones to snap photos of traffic violations during the May Day holiday that ended yesterday, targeting vehicles illegally using the emergency lanes. The drones can reach an altitude of 3,000 meters with a maximum flight radius of 10 kilometers. Meanwhile, Shenzhen police also used drones to monitor traffic and record violations in the crowded eastern area for the first time during the holiday. (Story on P3)Xinhua
