Banana Music Festival
Banana Music Festival will be held at Daimeisha Bay Yacht Club and DJs from different countries will perform Saturday. The festival will feature many different styles of music, including dazzling lighting and high pressure kinetic visual effects, to create an unparalleled electronic dance music “super” experience. Celebrities, models, artists and fashion gurus will also appear at the event. In addition, DJ Tomasiak, a.k.a. Tom Swoon, is also invited to join it.

Warehouse rave party
Dutch DJ R3hab will collaborate with Chinese DJ D!rty Class and producer Lanx Carta for a night of electronic dance music at iFactory in Shekou.

Piano duo
American twins Christina and Michelle Naughton will give a piano concert. In 2011, they performed in Munich’s Herkulessaal and began to establish their reputation outside of the United States. The Naughtons released their first album, “Piano Duets,” on the German label Orfeo in 2012. It was praised by Der Spiegel for a performance that “stands out with unique harmony and sings out with stylistic confidence.”

James Zabiela
English DJ James Zabiela will perform at Pepper Club in Shopping Park. Zabiela is from Southampton, England. In his early years, his signature style was a fusion of breakbeat and house music, more recently, however, he is regarded as a tech house DJ even though his use of breakbeat music is still key to the more flashy parts of his sets. He is known for his turntable skills, extensive use of loops and effects.

‘Digging a Hole in China’
“Digging a Hole in China” exhibition features a range of works produced in contemporary China that connect to the land. The exhibition attempts to expose and analyze the discrepancies between this genre of work and “conventional” land art as understood in the Western art historical context, thereby probing the potential of “land” as a cultural concept in artistic practice.

Fashion exhibition
“The Future of Fashion Is Now” exhibition aims to introduce trends in the forefront of fashion design through works of both accomplished designers and emerging young designers. It showcases works by 35 designers from 13 countries.
Using costumes, pictures, videos and installation art, the exhibition explores the latest development in contemporary fashion design in four aspects: materials, the human figure, new values in the fashion system, and the interaction between fashion and society.
