Vintage car exhibition

    Vintage and luxury cars are on display at Shenzhen Central Park. New car related technology and products will be showcased at the festival. Entry is free.

    Cat adoption event

    Homeless cats are waiting for pet lovers to bring them home from an adoption event Saturday in Luohu District. All cats will be available to new owners free of charge. Organized by szcat.org, the event will also feature a cat-themed oil painting and photography exhibition.

    Branding workshop

    Designers from Tencent and TCL and branding experts, Bosko Murasic, Benny Day, Shushanik Kostandian, Jess Zhu and Sarav Kandasamy, will talk at a branding workshop Saturday, organized by Madrasters, a design community started in India in 2011.

    PRD Eco-cinema Festival

    The Hong Kong-Pearl River Delta Eco-cinema Festival aims to promote the environmental movement in the community through film screenings, seminars, creative workshops and forums in the Pearl River Delta. Co-organized by Fat Bird Theater (Shenzhen) and CULTaMAP (Hong Kong), the two-day event will screen short movies.

    Free a cappella concert

    Boom, a local a cappella band, with all six members from Shenzhen University, will perform a free concert for local audience Saturday afternoon. Entry is free. No need to sign up to enjoy Saturday’s concert. Their repertoire covers a rich spectrum ranging from rock, R&B, electronic music, and folk songs, although they focus on pop music. Some of the songs are original.
