Bulgarian non-verbal play “Folklore Fantasies,” presented by the State Puppet Theater Varna, is being staged every weekend.

    It is an amusing play of imagination and fantasy, which is woven upon some motifs taken from the treasury of authentic Bulgarian folklore. It is a real story narrated with the help of everyday objects from the nearest past and with many bright hues of various forms and sounds woven through it.

    The theater’s repertoire offers performances for spectators of all ages, starting from classical and modern plays for children, entertaining and vanguard performances for adults to educational productions for students. The theater has been the host of the prestigious international puppet festival The Golden Dolphin.
