    A student from Central China’s Hunan Province will become the first Chinese student to deliver a commencement speech at Harvard University on May 26.

    He Jiang, a doctoral student in biology at the university, was chosen by the prestigious university as the only representative of postgraduates at the commencement, the China Youth Daily reported Wednesday. Director Steven Spielberg will also give a speech at the commencement.

    报道中的commencement speech就是“毕业演讲”，这个词通常指美国大学毕业典礼上的演讲，也可指高中毕业典礼的演讲。Commencement可以指“毕业典礼”，也可以是“开始”。
