A large crowd waiting for trains at the Pingzhou Station on Shenzhen Metro’s Luobao Line, or Line 1, yesterday morning. An equipment failure at the Xin’an Station on the line caused massive delays yesterday morning. The failure at around 7:27 a.m. initially caused trains to be delayed for several minutes before service on the section between Luohu Station and Xixiang Station was halted completely. The service was resumed at 8:06 a.m. Affected passengers can refund tickets within five days and office workers who were late for work can ask for an official certificate explaining their delay within two days, the Metro company said on its microblog yesterday.Shenzhen Economic Daily
