VETERAN Chinese actor Wang Jingchun has recently teamed up again with actress Kwai Lun-mei in an upcoming film called “Beautiful Accident.”

    This marks their second collaboration after the Golden Bear award-winning film “Black Coal, Thin Ice” in 2014.

    Wang explains his role in “Beautiful Accident” in Chinese.

    “I’m a powerful man in the film, who could even change people’s fate. Everyone is different in their path of life and destiny, but I could change that path.”

    The film tells the story of Li Yuran, portrayed by actress Kwai, who suddenly transforms into a housewife from a single, successful career woman overnight.

    A-list star Chen Kun acts as Li Yuran’s husband.

    Meanwhile, “Beautiful Accident” also stars 15-year-old cellist Ouyang Nana. She acts as Li Yuran’s daughter, who also has a younger brother portrayed by William, son of Huayi Brothers’ founder Wang Zhonglei.

    Ouyang reveals her experience to get along with William during the shooting.

    “Upon my joining the team, other cast members told me William is very shy and asked me to actively approach him and talk to him. But we’ve found no generation gap between us and had nice talks. In the film, he portrays my younger brother who I dislike very much, but in real life, we are on good terms.” (SD-Agencies)
