HK film festival

    The 35th Hong Kong International Film Festival began on Sunday with Johnnie To’s romantic drama “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.”

    Gao Yuanyuan, Daniel Wu and Louis Koo, who portray a love triangle* in the film, were among the few stars walking the lackluster* opening red carpet. The festival will run through to April 5.

 Yao Chen’s new love

    Chinese actress Yao Chen has admitted that she is in a new relationship with cinematographer* Cao Yu following her divorce with ex-husband and fellow actor Ling Xiaosu.

    Cao has collaborated with director Lu Chuan in the 2004 film “Kekexili: Mountain Patrol” and also on “City of Life and Death” in 2009. Yao and Ling split up in January this year.
